Hello All, I'm running a simplex node, the radio itself handles any tone modulation. Its been said that the transmitted audio seems to be a bit too loud. The URI is interfaced to a Kenwood TM271- 2m radio. Wired direct from URI pins 22 (Left AC audio out) and 20 (GRD) to the MIC and GRD pins on the radio mic jack. I don't have any test/calibration equipment but I figured I could lower the Transmitted Audio setting using 'radio-tune-menu'. Problem is that I have the "Set Transmit Voice Level" setting all the way down to 15 (0-999) and the transmit audio still sounds loud. Here is Info from 'radio tune' Output A set to voice Output B set to off TX voice level set to 15 TX tone level set to 200 RX squelch set to 500 I'm wondering if I may need to attenuate the interface line between the URI and Radio. Dash numbers aren't supported as it's not a full implementation of cron syntax. Unfortunately you have to put in individual entries for 8 through 22. Steve WA6ZFT

I am trying to figure the schedule format out i currently have this 83 = 00 * * * * which reads the time every hour i would like it to be every hour from 8 am to 10 pm i tried 83 = 00 8-22 * * * dosnt work is this possible

App for Android yet? Just want to remote control my node

Sorry, I didn't find anything in the archives for an Android client (IAX2, etc). Just would like to connect to my node for control purposes and am a little behind in how this is done. Is this better done by the website? I've converted my node over but not much past that yet. Thanks, Tony

All, I just uploaded v0.93 of NodeShark which fixes a "Nil object exception" that crashes the app if the user specifies an invalid path to the local copy of the archive in his NodeShark preferences. Audio connectivity files

Good morning all, The locals who use my node have noticed that when connecting to the IRLP nodes they no longer get the individual audio files that each node has in particular the older hams who are confused with numbers but remember the connection audio files. To try and keep the old boys happy is there a way in downloading a batch off my regular weekly connections so they again here what they use to hear please? Many thanks Keith G7DNT Sent from my Ipod

When I go to Allstar.org then -Server-Server config-Network config.I have Hostname(groves1) UDP port(4569) Type(DHCP) I have IP address & Netmask from what is on the ACID(linux machine) Where do I find or set up the Gateway,DNS1,DNS2 info?Iam using a Linksys BEFSR81 router. Darril/WD5GJP

Reverse autopatch / Bad router

My reverse autopatch is now working. Thanks to Jim who discover I had a bad router! (Never, ever, ever, ever buy a cheap router made by "ENCORE", and honestly, just never buy a cheap router made by anybody!). I am now registering as 4569 not 60001 ! I threw the Encore in the bit bucket.... THANKS JIM !! U the Man! Neil
