Node time out

Ok I know there is a time out timer for the radio attached to the node. I had to adjust that up slightly but that isn’t my problem. My problem is I like to have the Alaska morning net on my node, but I noticed that after an hour the node is disconnected. I then must reconnect to keep listening. That makes me think there is some sort of node time out somewhere that is shutting off the Alaska node after an hour. If there is can someone tell me in what conf file it is in so I can adjust it. I have it working on my repeater which runs Dial and copied the file from there. I just changed the Call, the node number and pw and still does not work. Can someone help me get my UriX and Dial to link to my node? I have account setup and done at Allstar site and everything. I am entering c /etc/asterisk/usbradio.conf and other commands, but nothing. I need to get to the questions section for my node setup in Dial after install. I can't get there. Any help please. RTCM underwater audio...

Hello Group! Running latest DIAL image, and updated. Two RTCM's running as Mixed. Both RTCM's will break into a underwater sounding reverbed mess all of a sudden, but not always at the same time. S tarts out small and gets worse the longer the transmitter is keyed.. After the PTT stops, everything returns to normal until it starts again. No pattern, no reason... changed buffer settings on both ends. no joy.. any ideas? Sam

Simulcast buffer value issue

I'm running a Pi 3 too. Using http://vklink.com.au/ as the image for local use in VK. I logged in shortly after I had a QSO on the repeater and the load average was 0.00, 0.01, 0.00. I also noticed while having another conversation on the repeater this morning, the problem started after 5-10 minutes or so, up to almost 7 syllables. Then the other user went clear for 5 mins, then came back and we continued the conversation with no delay for a further 10 minutes. I've disabled the voter record function in the channel driver for now, just in case that is the issue. I guess I could try another RTCM/Voter unit sitting at the Master site with no radio attached at all purely for timing. Sam - what did you change your buflen too? My current config - buflen = 140 in voter.conf Tx Buffer Length in RTCM's = 1120 Ping to site 2 (slowest site) - Packets tx: 100, rx: 100, oos: 0, Avg.: 33.720 ms Worst: 53 ms, Best: 32 ms, 100.0% Packets successfully received (0.0% loss) Ping to site 1 (master site) - Packets tx: 100, rx: 100, oos: 0, Avg.: 3.450 ms Worst: 4 ms, Best: 3 ms, 100.0% Packets successfully received (0.0% loss) Regards Hayden VK7HH
