Limey on Intel D2700MUD Questions

Hi, I've read the Limey docs, saw the D2700MUD was supported and got one. Now building the system, but not with a lot of Linux exp. Drive Question: I could use a 128MB CF card in a CF/SATA adapter, or I see the D2700MUD board has a Mini PCIe port where I could put an SSD. The SSD would be a clean cable, all-components-on-the-motherboard system and looks attractive. If I used an SSD, would I still be able to use the standard Limey binary/image intended for the CF? RTCM vs URIx and system scalability/performance: I'm aiming to use this system to control a co-located VHF and UHF repeater. (ICOM FR-5000/6000) It may also have an additional repeater or link added over time - possibly 4 radios. Do I need to be concerned about performance of this D2700 system with 4 radios? Is there a performance advantage in using the RTCM as the radio interface in that it seems to process COR in the RTCM rather than n the PC? Any hints or tips would be appreciated. Thanks, Randy

Anyone got the acids-stream.tar.gz ?

Hi, So I'm looking at setting up streaming for my node. I downloaded libshout (both 2.2.2 and 2.3.1), and also ezstreamer, but ezstreamer gives the problem with lib shout not being found, even though it is, mentioned somewhere in the archive. Unfortunately, the link to the acid-stream.tar.gz tut's mentioned in a long-ago archive is no longer valid. Anyone got this, or at least the doit.sh script? 2 USB Fob issue!

Greetings, I have a strange problem. I am going to discuss the problem then I am going to tell what I have done to fix it. Right now I am running 2 USB CM108 Fobs. Fob 1 (repeater) is on my 27539 repeater. Fob 2 (weather radio) is on 27540. Also I am running IAXRPT on 27541. Now here is the problem. When fob 2 is rxing. I can here that rx on all the tx lines going out. So the output to the repeater radio can hear fob two. 27541 can also hear fob two receiver. There is what I have done to try and fix this. I have moved fob1 to another usb port. Same result. Also moved the fob2 to another set of usb ports on the motherboard. But I did notice something. If the usb fob is not linked in asterisk is not heard anywhere. But once I have simpleusb-tune-menu place the usb fob on a port, I can hear it everywhere. Any ideas? I would really like to run 3 fobs. But if I can not get 2 fobs to work I am stuck. Ryan KB8PMY

Dump all linked nodes to a file for live update

Is there a way to dump all the node numbers currently connected to a system and their nodes to a text file? I would like to process the file to update the live status on a website of my HUB node. Almost like the AllStar status but shows ALL the nodes that are linked. I know in the cli I can issue a "rpt nodes <local node>" and will show all the linked nodes but how can I get it to a file? thanx -- boB - W5EVH

If anyone is using a Zxeyl DSL modem don't use the routing functions.. Bridge it and use a different router.. I had the same problem and swapped several modems out from the DSL company and still same out come. Once i bridged the modem and put a router in line it works 24/7 with no problem..
