limeylinux help please anyone?

I have an Intel Atom based embedded machine that uses a CF card for its storage. I've written the image OK to the CF card and can see all the files on the card. However, when the machine boots, it gets part way through the sequence and hangs - the only way to revive the thing is to power reset it. Is there anyone on the list who is familiar with Limey and could give me some pointers as to how I can find out what the problem is? The machine has 1Gb of system ram. I realize that this is a bit off-topic, but I wanted to share this with all of you since it is indeed a group of people that would certainly appreciate it: Last night, I went with a couple of friends to a Southern Indian restaurant in Cerritos, CA, which was sadly closed. The one we were going to was called Udupi palace (pronounced like "UDP"). It apparently was closed on Monday. While looking for another place to each (which we found), we saw a business almost across the street from the closed restaurant called "ISP". I think its great that the Indians have got so much into networking, but isn't that just a bit much?? :-) :-) :-) Jim WB6NIL

USB Radio Commands

So if this setting txprelim=no is: TX audio processing. Options: (no,yes). Choosing yes turns on transmitter preemphasis and peak limiting, along with a lowpass filter. The yes option is used when driving an FM transmitter directly by injecting audio right into the modulator. The no option provides audio which should be injected into the microphone input of the transmitter or at some point in the transmitter' speech amplifier before preemphasis, and limiting. What is the setting? txlimonly=no Nothing in the manual about it. Thanks 73 Jim W7RY

Alternate IAX port >> Registered ok but not listed?

I am unable to connect to my node from the webtransceiver and don't see it listed on the active nodes page. I use an alternate iax port because i have to. >From reading other posts… it seems I may need an admin to change my iax port from 4569 to what I now want to use which is 4570? thoughts? My registration is still showing 4569 and am forwarding 4570 on my router to my ACID box. cruiser*CLI> iax2 show registry Host dnsmgr Username Perceived Refresh State <myip>:4569 N 28970 <myip>:4569 60 Registered I’m not seeing my node show up and believe this is the cause. In my iax.conf I have bindport set 4570 and also in server config under network I set port 4570 on the portal. looking at rpt_extnodes i see my node listed with the correct port... 28970=radio@<myip>:4570/28970,<myip> [general] bindaddr=0.0.0.0 bindport=4570 .... register=28970:<mypasswd>@register.allstarlink.org

Calling from SIP Phone to Radio Locally

Hi, We are trying to establish communication between a radio and a SIP user locally. Both radio and SIP phone are users of an asterisk exchange with no intervention of Allstar, Echolink etc. We have configured our system according to the link http://ohnosec.org/pipermail/app_rpt-users/2010-February/000788.html and now we are able to call from radio to the local SIP user. We are trying to do it in the reverse direction i.e. to enable a SIP user to call a radio. Can anyone please help us how can we configure this? Thanks and Regards Sarosh and Amber

Anyone know why a new node I just built goes through several of these before settling down after a reboot? I have hear this complaint from someone else before, but he can't remember what he did to fix his node.
