Loren, Not sure how you want to "shut down" the node. You could disable the node with: rpt cmd 2154 cop 3 2154 where 2154 is the node to shut down. rpt cmd 2154 cop 2 2154 would enable said node. A few questions this morning

Hello I am working on a dtmf script that will shut down the node that the script is running on.. The problem is their is two repeaters running on the same node so I would just like to shut off the one not both.. Next issue is Ezstream... yes its been a hassle it keeps locking up on the data center and i have to keep killing ezstream and restarting asterisk.. here is the script im using to kill it however is their any fix to let it just run with out killing asterisk and restarting everything.. sh restart.sh script #!/bin/bash kill -9 $(pgrep ezstream)& service asterisk restart Ok the last issue this morning I want to ask about is connecting via telephone through the asterisk phone portal their is many issues with this.. Some times it works and some times it doesnt and with no understanding of where the issue is.. Basically at this current time anyone wishing to connect up to the phone portal 41715 they enter their pin and then its silent no further directions or information.. VOIP Demonstration at high school -- people needed to link in

The STEM (science technology engineering math) school, highlands Ranch, CO. where I set up a repeater will have their first club meeting today. The STEM repeater is based on a Raspberry pi for a controller, for AllStar , and for EchoLink I won't be at the meeting, but will be linked in. The meeting starts at 3:30PM mountain time today (Thursday) The school is really looking for an international contact, but anybody who wants to link in-- feel free to and show off allstar and echolink to kids. using Zoiper

has anyone had any experience using Zoiper as an access app to asterisk? i can register, dial extensions, hear traffic, but am (admittedly) stumped as to what the ptt sequence is or should be. just wondering (this is on an iphone, btw). -- Bryan Sent from my iPhone 5...No electrons were harmed in the sending of this message.

Latest BBB Image

I am fixing to convert my node to a BBB or rPi2. I have both so I'm trying to pick the more mature environment. The "Latest News" dated June 10 indicated that V1.3 of the BBB code was in the offing in early July, but the latest image I can find appears to be BBB_Allstar_v1.2.1 and RPi2_V1.0_Allstar Are there a later images I should be using? If not, are there new BBB/rPi2 images coming soon that is worth waiting for? Loren, There are 2 files you might be interested in: /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/rpt/timeout.ulaw /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/rpt/timeout-warning.ulaw The names should tell it all. ;)

Hi I have a custom audio file and have it converted for asterisk but i don't know where to put it for when my repeater system times out.. Kenwood radio's for node

Hello , I have two kenwood TK-706D radios how do I make a cable to hook them to a usb fob. I would like to make a back yard repater for the cottage also a friend I mine about 5 years ago put up a allstar/dstar repater using one set of radios we have since lost contact and I would like to do this dose any one here know how. DTMF By-Direction Propagate

Hello All, I have a RF network built out that has various drop repeaters controlled via DTMF. We've been having issues with one of our RF links, so we decided to use 2 RTCM's and an Allstar server to link the sites together via IP instead. This worked great, however I'm having difficulties getting DTMF to pass. On the network we use * and # to control the drop repeaters, so I changed the function characters to: funcchar = A endchar = D, since A and D aren't used on our network. The link is permanently connected so I just wrote a startup macro for node 80: startup_macro = A390DA40 which connects node 80 to 90 and puts 90 into control mode so DTMF passes. The problem is DTMF doesn't pass the other direction. I can't put startup_macro = A380DA40 into node 90's stanza, asterisk complains that the nodes are currently connected. Any ideas how I can do this? Really there is only a handful of commands that need to propagate over the IP link, I read on one of the archived mailing list emails that you can write a COP for every command needed to propagate over the IP link, but I can't figure out how to do that. Any help would be great, Thx, Jesse
