Alright (OK), So where do we draw the line? Every time I refer to the Universal Radio Adapter asserting the Push To Talk line, or can I just type the URI pulls the PTT line low. Every technology has acronyms and abbreviations. Should there be a glossary, sure. I deal in a industry that is nothing but TLA on top of TLA (Three Letter Acronyms) which are really Three Letter Abbreviations. Has anyone built an Amazon.com <http://amazon.com/> AWS EC2 AMI for Allstar DIAL that they are willing to share? Any experiences running a hub on an EC2 instance? How’s the ulaw audio latency, etc. vs. bare metal in a commercial data center? Any experience spinning up one of the Asterisk / FreePBX AMIs in the ASW marketplace and patching for Allstar? DMKx Uri Problem

Hello, Still having trouble with my DMk URIx dongle. I have installed "uridiag" a standalone program to test a known good unit having returned it to DMK. They were very gracious and tested it for me and found no problems with it. The loop around has been tested for continuity a number of times and tested good each and every time. I appears that I have a driver problem based on the "Unable to" error that is displayed upon opening the program although it finds the URIx. Some of the test appear to work however the "T" test does not nor does it see audio in from the radio however; audio out to the radio is ok. Allmon2 Mobile?

Greetings, Is anyone working on adding the necessary bits of code to make Allmon2 more mobile friendly? It is fantastic to be able to monitor and control my repeaters via my smartphone and tablet... the icing on the cake would be optimizing it for those platform browsers. Thanks! Hi Everyone, I could really use some help here. I don’t know if this is a wiring issue or a configuration issue. It’s probably a configuration issue. I’m trying to build a Simplex Node using an HT. I purchased a URI and made a cable going from the URI to the TRRS Jack on my Vertex VX-150 HT. It will only transmit or receive. And this is dependent on whether the “carrierfrom=” setting is set to “usb” or “usbinvert” When the simpleusb.conf is setup with “carrierfrom=usbinvert”, my HT will transmit call sign and time and stuff like that but it does not recognize any DTMF Commands I send using a different radio on the same frequency. Pi 3 Use of GPIO for PTT and COS

Greetings, Just wondering if anyone has been able to modify SimpleUSB or USBradio channel drivers to be able to use GPIO pins on the PI 3 for PTT and COS. This would be very useful for using potted sound fobs where you can not access the COS and PTT pins. Folks will migrate to the better option naturally. I'm already seeing that sort of migration here. I can do a lot more with allstar than any of the other available options. Allstar is also actively developed.
