allmon2 question

I have allmon deployed on an internal server here. It works fine. I have a remote server I installed allmon on, modified allmon.ini.php, pointed the address for the allstar boxes here, opened ports to allow access, etc. But when looking at the allmon page on web browser all I get is the text inside index.php All files are identical between the two servers. I first tried just replacing the app_rpt.c file but that didn't fly. So I got the whole thing from github and in Limey I did getsrc then in the source tree went into the asterisk directory and deleted all. Next dropped the new asterisk/allstar source in to the directory. Some make files have permissions set to where it would not compile but I simply did 'chmod 755 * -R' and then went back up to the /usr/src/astsrc directrory and did 'make genconfig' First menu came up no changes needed, escape out and then more time till the main menu for asterisk comes up. Select as needed, escape out, hit "S" for save and let it compile. I got errors when the system was out of memory. So I tried again but eliminated echolink, channel voter and stuff I knew I didn't need. And especially the sound files, didn't compile them. They were already on the computer. Then it compiled and applied the new asterisk executable. But then you need to save it and for some reason the script "svastbin" didn't place the newly compiled asterisk on the cf card, so I moved it manually from /root and reboot, all went fine, it works great. My reason was to allow allmon to work with this node. The old 0.287 source didn't know about allmon. Hope this helps. Just curious, how long has your cf card been in service? Greetings, Looking for some help on this. I am running an embedded Allstarlink node here at my house that originally installed. With the help of Jim we updated the software a few times many, many years ago. I am running Limey-linux micro linux distribution version 1.1.2 Linux version 2.6.30.5 (srodgers@steverod) (gcc version 4.3.3 (GCC) ) #1 PREEMPT Sat Oct 9 18:51:49 PDT 2010 Since then Allstarlink has grown and we have issued out node numbers that are 4xxxx. There's probably a 1 or more tests in the code for 4xxxx in app_rpt.c. If your system is able to still compile Asterisk, Maybe someone who is local to you, and has more time then I do, and who knows C could take a look in the app_rpt.c file and find the lines which test for 4xxxx and try commenting them out and recompiling the code. Just make sure to save a copy the original app_rpt.c file in case something goes terribly wrong. I have allmon installed and have only one active node to monitor, 2360. I get report on it : no connections. But I have connections. I'm running the last version of limey. The future allstarlink.org website has been up and running continuously since we announced it a week or so back. So far the feedback has been great. We've made a couple of minor modifications based on that feedback. If you missed the announcement or just haven't had a chance to visit the new site there is still plenty of time to have a look before we roll it out. connection failed

Hi- Moved to another QTH- hooked up my Pi and set ports to forward as I had previously. I can connect- see Allmon, etc- but connections always fail- whether from Zoiper or from iaxRpt on the PC. AllStarLink Personnel Update

Just want to update you on the status of personnel at AllStarLink, Inc. Things normally fluctuate in a volunteer group and we want to keep everyone up to date as to what is happening. Todd Lesser - KM6RPT has joined the board. Todd is a new ham with a strong interest in Allstar. He was friends with and worked professionally with Jim Dixon for almost 30 years. He was part of the development team on the Zapata Telephony project that created the technology that Allstar uses. Tim Sawyer - WD6AWP has rejoined the board after a short absence. Tim is a repeater owner and developer of Allmon. Bryan Fields - W9CR has chosen to leave the board. Bryan will remain a key developer of AllStarLink infrastructure. Pete Elke - WI6H is a current member of the AllStarLink board. Pete brings management and communications skills to the board. Kevin Custer - W3KKC remains on the board. Kevin is the founder of repeater-builder.com <http://repeaterbuilder.com/> and is active with the WAN repeater system. Dave Shaw - WB6WTM has accepted the role of treasurer. Dave recently served as a Director and Treasurer for NARCC (The Northern California Repeater Coordination Council). -- Tim WD6AWP

Friday Night 220 MHz (mostly) Net

This is your invitation to have your repeater join a regular Friday night net, focusing (mostly) on 220 MHz. It originates from the 224.12 repeater in Syracuse, AllStar node 28405, and is joined by approximately 20 other (mostly) 220 MHz repeaters in various parts of the country. It is mostly a "say hello" net and doesn't usually get very technical. We would enjoy having you link up and hearing about the state of 220 MHz repeaters in your area. It gives us a good opportunity to refine our AllStar setups and test them for audio quality, etc., and just have some fun using AllStar. Although the focus is 220 machines, we know that repeaters on other bands often come along for the ride, and that's fine. Seams like I am still having problem with my node 49390 wanting to disconnect from another node, I am running a Arris TG1672 router I think I have the ports configered right but not sure?
