Hi group, Been trying to set up my Beagle/LOX combo but have been having some issues. Anyway, been accessing it via a serial cable and PuTTY, been playing with the config, nodesetup and everything has been going as well as it could, until I shut it down one night, got up the next morning with a fresh mind, fired up the gear, plugged in the serial cable, clicked on server, download config, initiate in the Portal and the response I got was “ Sorry, your server does not have any downloadable nodes ( Register Only ) “ Does anyone understand what this message is, why am I getting it. Didn’t think that whatever parameters I put in the Portal and downloaded to the Beagle would corrupt it, so why is it now telling me I have no downloadable nodes, I don’t understand, I have had no problems for the past year that I have been playing with this thing. To make matters worse, I can’t log in to my Beagle with PuTTY either, I enter the Com port and baud rate and all I get is a blank screen, can do nothing with it so I guess this also has something to do with me not being able to configure my Beagle through the Portal. Anyone got any thoughts please. Thanks. Ron VK3ANT

Anyone have the information on where one can deposit custom node names so other nodes can download them? I recall seeing an email or information, but I have lost it over 2 years ago. Thanks! Lu, KA4EPS node 27892

Thank you nano looks like what I used to use , did not like vi , So I think I have every thing set up , the green light on the uri is blinking , red light is not I see the node on the web portal (27155) Can some on try and connect , I think I have every thing set up correct , today I will be building a cable to go to my RLC2a controller , then I can set levels I am thinking for the cable an old printer cable with one end chopped off should work What have you used ?? BeagleBone Black and URI

Anyone tried to install asterisk and app_rpt onto a beaglebone black? I would like to use a beaglebone black and a URI with chan_simpleusb.c as a controller. I personally think that the blocking subject is a good question. I see it asked here from time to time. but no real answer to it. Help getting my node back up and running

Hello all. I have just got my node back up and running. Had a few things happen.. One the repeater dies a horriable death.. second the puter went up with it. So.. Now I have an msf5000 and a new puter. I have the software installed and the URI plugged in. Now what I need help with is getting it connected to the MSF and configuring the software to get it all working again. Any help I would be greatful for. Thanks. Got it to work!!! email me direct with any questions. Last piece of the puzzle trying to figure out how to announce on the machine that the "telephone portal is connected" I got it to announce on the phone side but not on the repeater. would would be the correct extensions.conf string to get something to play on the repeater? is it filename/rpt/nodenumer? REMOTE login issues with putty

Hello All I have been tryng to login in from remote to my Centos box with no luck using putty. I can login in on the keyboard with no problems.I have reinstalled and reburned serveral CD with no luck.I get the login prompt and use root and the password I used for keyboard ( KEYBOARD IS FINE ) access but it gives me ACCESS DENIED everytime from remote. Any help would be appreciated. I know the port routing is correct since I am getting the connect and login prompt. 73 e KB5NUR
