Yes, I run that on our Allstar link node. It works pretty well, but I have an issue with it where ezstream will go to max cpu if it loses connectivity. I have to remote to the box and kill it. If that's a problem you're having (because you'd test it first) I would look at a dedicated audio codec on a second audio output point from your interface, so you don't destabilize your PC. Hi did it for a few months I found that it was asking a lot of bandwith for nothing much. Someone was asking earlier about 'scheduling' an allstar node. Pretty good documentation and examples available on-line. Simplest voting configurating?

Good Evening Group, What is the easiest process for taking an out-of-the box ACID installation and configuring an app_rpt and chan_voter to act as a voting server for three RTCMs sitting on a LAN? I know that this is a very broad question, but even for linux and asterisk newbies, there seems to be more than one "right way". Any help will be greatly appreciated, and be going to a charitable cause. Thank you, Paul

Hi, I have a Garmin GPS connected to my RTCM. The RTCM is spitting out the following error message which I cannot locate info about. ACID installation demanding weird login/password

Hello Group, I have been following the instructions on this website for installing ACID very closely, but seem to encounter a strange error. After the computer successfully finished installing phase2.sh, it reboots, and after booting, I am prompted by this screen: CentOS release 5.9 (Final) Kernel 2.6.18-348.6.1.e15 on an i686 TCEP_Allstar login: (TCEP_Allstar is the name of my server) I have tried every combination of possible "login" names and passwords, including my node number and node password, and my root password. New RIMs ready to ship!!

Repeater-Builder would like to announce a fresh batch of RIM's and accompanying 20 hour sale. After having difficulties getting the first batch ready for Dayton, we ran into other (different) issues with this second batch. I feel we now have all the wrinkles ironed out of the manufacturing process. I currently have enough parts to build a total of 50 RIMs. Hopefully this will be enough for me to keep ahead of demand. :) At present, I have 11 RIMs finished and ready to ship immediately with more available after a bit of rework. Regular pricing on these units is $100 including USPS shipping. For those of you that placed your names on our waiting list at Hamvention, I will honor the $90 per unit price you were quoted at the show. Now for the sale part: I will be away on vacation next week. (I'm leaving Saturday morning per the social coordinator's schedule.) So....
