UPDATE: While doing some research on the EEPROM for the node I found the ASL page that talked about radio-tune-menu and doing a "W-write" for each one after doing the port swap and flashing to determine which is which. The write seemed to have fixed it. I previously had done the radio-tune-menu with just the two nodes and didn't have to do the write but it fixed this problem. -- Sent from my Android device with K-9 Mail. Please excuse my brevity.

Here is what I get. From the looks of it 2 of the ports look like they are using the same bus. I wonder if that may have something to do with it. Interestingly they are all stacked one on top of the other looking like I've large device. Random node assignments

I've been running a 2 node URI Dial setup on a computer with no issues. Last night I installed a 3rd URI node and now every time I reboot asterisk it randomly assigns the node number to each radio/URI pair and it's never the same. I'm not using a USB hub but just the USB ports on the back of the computer and I have left things plugged into the same ports. Google Allstar Node Connection Maps

I created a list active Allstar nodes with node number links that displays the connections to other nodes on a Google map: http://stats.allstarlink.org/maps/allstarNodesMap.php Some examples: East coast hub: http://stats.allstarlink.org/maps/nodeMap.html?node=27339 The Win System: http://stats.allstarlink.org/maps/nodeMap.html?node=2560 I also started a main page : http://stats.allstarlink.org/maps/ Some nodes don't have coordinates set or they are 0,0. 73 Greg KD3SU

I wonder if the nodes have the same coords? I also need to add a small random offset for location since some nodes are at the same QTH. I tried another that just had one node connected, a bug. I also see that if there is nothing or just 2 others connected the node does not show up on the map. AllStar interface and +

hi all i need some support: i have here and Baofeng 888 that has been mofify with a sound card and a Cheap Chinese Pi clone ,modified so it runs SVXLINK and Echolink. i need someone that could take a look and tell me if i can modify and used it on Allstar. thats not me that built it so i dont know what has been done but it is working no1. Also i got an MSR2000 VHF that i want to modufy for AllStar,, what interface should i baught? is there any web site that gaving some help of what need to be done ? i could exchange anyway this Echolink 888 also for an AllStar since i dont need it,i want to try AllStar. thanks in advance for your help,it is mostly appreciated 73's Gervais VE2CKN

What if anything could cause your node to key up without you knowing about it? I check my node status and in 8 hours 15 mins. I have 285 keyups. Buy I happen to know that the node was only keyed up physically 15 times on that 8 hour window. So I don’t know where the 285 is coming from . So can a node key up without you knowing it?? If so where do I start looking for the problem . This has me confused. David Waters

hi all well i dont know if i am in the ight group to ask my question,i will let the Moderator filter it: i have an MSR2000 here that i want to be used on AllStar,i need to know what interface i should buy,how to connect it ?? i have not found yet on Facebook any Groups about AllStar. Node time out

Ok I know there is a time out timer for the radio attached to the node. I had to adjust that up slightly but that isn’t my problem. My problem is I like to have the Alaska morning net on my node, but I noticed that after an hour the node is disconnected. I then must reconnect to keep listening. That makes me think there is some sort of node time out somewhere that is shutting off the Alaska node after an hour. If there is can someone tell me in what conf file it is in so I can adjust it.
