Sorry yes it is hamvoip distro, very sorry to trouble you all! I will take it up with them. between both distro's are pretty good! We don't put a link to the tmp directory for rpt_extnodes in our distro. I suspect, as Marshal mentioned, you're running the hamvoip distro. GE Mastr III and DMK USB-URI

Has anyone successfully interfaced the DMK USB-URI to a GE Mastr III repeater/base station? I've got transmit working correctly, but can seem to get the received audio back into the device correctly. Thanks for any help you can provide. --Bret Taylor Olympia School District

in my directory /var/lib/asterisk/rpt_extnodes rpt_extnodes -> /tmp/rpt_extnodes appears as a link and I get tail: cannot open '/tmp/rpt_extnodes' for reading: No such file or directory Also I'll ask 29103 to check his whitelist. Where would I look and check about accepting inbound connects? Auto-congesting call due to slow response then connection failed

I am having trouble connecting to to a certain node every time I get connect failed every time. But the node can connect to me every time. Sounds like port fwd issues from them? I can connect to everyone node that is registered. From what I know we are both registered in the system and listed in the Allstar Link Node List. I have attached the CLI output below. This has been happening awhile, just never figured it out, but have been trying and decided to send to the group if anyone else seen this issue. Cannot link the repeater node and the echolink pseudo node within the allstar server

I configured both nodes in thr server, one for the VHF repeater (Using the DMNK URI) and one more for the echolink pseudonode, the repeater part works fine, but I cannot link both nodes togheter, echolink.org shows my pseudo node active and connected and it accepts connections from other systems like my echolink app on my iphone, but between both nodes it cannot be possible to connect them even using the macro at startup, this is the log from the asterisk console: Node 47220 is the one for the USB interface and node 47222 is the pseudonode for echolink, what is missing ? What exactly is a node in AllStarLink

Could someone help me get a better idea of the concept of what a node is in asterisk/app_rpt/all star terminology. I have a computer with 4 radio ports, an fxo port, an fxs port, and an Internet connection which allows connection to any number of endpoints over sip or iax. Now what is a node? I’d like to be able via DTMF to bring one or more radios on and off link. Some of my understanding that needs to happen here is how AllStarLink is architected but also relating concepts to what I know and am familiar with which is a network of linked remotes (anyone here a cactus member or at least familiar with how a srs controller is architected as an 8x8 full duplex audio switch matrix. ) where a remote may have up to 8 radios and each of those can be linked or unlinked individually to any one or more of the other 8. Finally, how does AllStarLink prevent loops in routing? I know this seems odd at first glance but I can easily foresee audio from one source being linked to multiple places and those sources being mixed and linked back in a twisted mess. Please help me to understand Af6ep Sent using SMTP.

I was following the Subject on Registration Refused messages and had this question. Would the nodes list of valid nodes or lack of cause this kind of error also? Node can connect to me every time but if I try and connect to Node I get connect failed every time. Sounds like port fwd issues? I can connect to everyone else that is registered. If the node you are trying to connect to does not have a updated nodes list of valid nodes, it's not going to allow the connection.

How to clone SD card for R Pi

Looking for an easy method of duplicating an SD card. I tried win32 disk imager method, but it did not seem to do the trick. Might be that I am doing something wrong. If there is perhaps another program or tips someone can pass along, I’d appreciate it. Lu Vencl KA4EPS
