My box running the Allstar monitor crashed - because it ran out of disk space. I found that this was due to the error log (/var/log/httpd/error_log) filling up with a zillion messages like this one: [Fri Dec 06 21:36:28 2013] [error] [client 108.18.144.226] PHP Deprecated: Function split() is deprecated in /var/www/html/server.php on line 29, referer: http://108.18.144.226/link.php?node=28204 Line 29 of server.php has the problematical split function $arr = split("\|", trim($line)); I replaced it with $arr = preg_split("/\|/", trim($line)); There is also the same error for line 11 of link.php. After making these changes, I deleted the error log - and it has not come back. My system is running: PHP 5.3.27 httpd-2.2.3-45.el5.centos.1 73 Ken

I started thread and after doing some research maybe someone could respond off list. I would like to have autopatch on my repeater. I've now realized Google voice is going away. So two fold if I'm already going to pay for SIP service on my repeater why not be able to have home phone service too. I should be able to cobble something together? So my question to the list is what do people suggest I do? I was looking at vitality, I have an obiha at home that is currently setup with Google voice. So I figured I could reconfigure the obiha but what should I do for my repeater.

Anyone recall the script name for setting up a node in XIPAR? I can't recall and I need to move some nodes around and thought it would be easier use a script. THanks

iax2 registry issue

Hi All, I am running Xipar release of asterisk and am new to asterisk. I have been having issues with iax2 registration. I can not figure out how to re-register the node. The only thing that works is a reboot. CLI> iax2 show registry Host dnsmgr Username Perceived Refresh State 67.215.233.178:4569 N 29062 <Unregistered> 60 Timeout 67.215.233.178:4569 N 29061 <Unregistered> 60 Request Sent CLI> iax2 show stats IAX Statistics --------------------- Outstanding frames: 2 (0 ingress, 2 egress) Packets in transmit queue: 0 dead, 0 final, 2 total I can not connect to any other nodes until re-registered and get a "connection failed". Phones and Google Voice

I need to be pointed in the right direction on where to read how to do this or a little help. Is it possible to use my already established Google Voice account for auto patch on the repeater? Also I'd like to be able to have a few voip phones on my server. So I can dial an extension to monitor the repeater or dial an extension to call someone on my network. Outbound calling to a POTS line isn't needed.

Latest SVN dies on Beagleboard

Is anyone else having problems with the latest SVN dying on Beagle Board? I was in the CLI and it just boots me. After I fixed my NTP time, I downloaded latest SVN and now I can¹t stay connected anywhere. I have the same problem on another BeagleBoard that has the latest SVN. There is nothing in /var/log/asterisk/messages On some nodes, 27664 for example, it dies almost immediately after announcing connection. On some it stays for 3 minutes and then dies. Need installation help

I am trying to walk a neophyte through an acid install remotely. I am sure some of you know how trying that can be. So here is where we are - He has booted the iso disk and answered up to the static IP where he took the defualt for DHCP for now. The install went along and asked to remove the disk and then rebooted. When it rebooted it asks for the test login I had him type root PW setup. He gets the prompt. I took him through the command to look at /root/acid-install.log and from what he read me I don't see any problem. It among other normal things says it went to dl.allsstarlik.org and imported the centos 5 pgp keys. I am not getting the text exactly right here but you get the idea. It did not show any errors on doing any of this and the last line is phase1.sh done - rebooting. So now every time it boots it comes back to the test login screen. I suspect no network connectivity but nothing ever told us that specifically. The computer he is using work wirelessly with winxp but would not work through a wired connection. We were not sure if this was a hardware or windows SW problem. I was able to get him to ping another active IP on his local network and it came back unreachable. This is an old laptop computer and a very computer inexperienced person at the other end and I am trying to do this remotely over the radio. It would be a lot easier if I was there.
